Starting from the beautiful island of Syros, the vision for a successful property management company begins to take shape. The story starts with Marios Argyros, an 18-year-old at the time, managing a single property sublet in Episkopio, Syros. His vision was fueled by ambition and a passion for growth. For the development of the online platform, Marios’ older brother, Yiannis, who had just completed his studies in economics and was working at a hotel, lent his support.
September 2021
After a successful season filled with positive surprises, one thing became clear. Properties could yield significant returns through short-term rentals, but processes such as cleaning, linens, and bookings could be automated.
February 2022
During the winter season, Marios actively worked on automating bookings, creating the Abouttraveller platform, while Yiannis continued his studies abroad after being accepted for a master's degree in Financial Economics at the University of Rotterdam. Additionally, more proposals for property management started to come in.
May 2022
The demand for management services kept growing. Yiannis, having just completed his master's studies, returned to Greece to assist Marios in forming the company, as they had now reached six properties. To further automate processes, their middle brother, Nikos, a programmer, became actively involved. The company officially launched, and the new season began.
June 2022
The company continued to grow, adding new properties across more Cycladic islands. The trust of partners increased, and guests enjoyed high-quality services across more than 50 properties. Yiannis decided to postpone his return abroad due to strong financial results and took charge of the company's financial oversight. Nikos focused on developing algorithms and process automation, while Marios concentrated on expanding the company.

The second most significant day for the company’s growth. The custom Abouttraveller booking platform was presented on Dragons' Den Greece, winning funding and being called "the best idea presented on the show." On the same day, a partnership agreement was signed with the largest real estate company in the Balkans, Plasis Real Estate, which has since played a key role in every step of the company’s journey.
October 2022
Plasis Real Estate opened a branch in Syros, where it co-located with DEUX. Besides exclusive property management, the company also took on a real estate role through its collaboration with Plasis Real Estate.
2023
Reaching 100 properties, the company firmly established its reputation in the Cyclades. With passion and consistency, they created unique vacation experiences for guests, offering enhanced hospitality services on every island. Advanced pricing algorithms, custom websites, and trained staff set the company apart and gained the trust of major partners.

The most significant day for the company to date. With Plasis Real Estate’s collaboration and at the initiative of Mr. Minas Dimos, a prime minister’s advisor and real estate expert, the Deux Management group was established. Yiannis Dimos, along with the three aforementioned brothers, took over the management of the newly formed Deux. The group now offers comprehensive hotel management services throughout Greece, including transfer and hotel experience services, through an exclusive partnership with HotelBrain. The volume of Plasis Real Estate, combined with the passion and integrity of the four partners, now provides a comprehensive management solution across Greece.
